Aquiora High-Density Aquarium Filter Floss – Fine Mechanical Media
Keep aquarium water clearer with Aquiora High-Density Aquarium Filter Floss, a dense mechanical filter media designed to intercept suspended particles before they circulate through your tank.
Fine mechanical filtration for clearer water
The dense fiber structure helps catch fine debris that may pass through coarser sponge or foam media. Use it as a polishing layer in a compatible filter setup—not as a replacement for biological or chemical media.
- High-density material for strong fine-particle interception
- Helps capture suspended dirt, uneaten food particles, fish waste and plant debris
- Cut-to-fit format for different filter compartments
- Suitable for compatible freshwater aquarium filter setups
- No glue or added agents shown on the product packaging
How to use high-density filter floss
- Cut the 120 × 30 cm sheet to match your filter compartment.
- Place it where water is forced to pass through the material, with no obvious side bypass.
- For heavy debris loads, use a coarse sponge or coarse media before the filter floss.
- Fit the floss snugly, but do not compress it so tightly that water flow is restricted.
- Inspect the material regularly and service it when it becomes visibly dirty, compressed, or restricts flow.
Cleaning and replacement
The material can be gently rinsed in dechlorinated water or removed aquarium water for short-term reuse. Because dense fine media collects debris quickly, replace it when rinsing no longer restores adequate flow or cleanliness. Do not use soap or household cleaners.
