Why Aquiora™ Bio-Spheres Outperform Traditional Ceramic Media
🌪️ 3D Turbine Fluid-Dynamic Shell
Specially angled curved spiral blades break down heavy water flow into gentle, distributed micro-currents. Increases water-to-media contact time and minimizes localized dead water zones.
🧬 Dual-Matrix Bio-Fiber Core
Protected inside the rigid 40mm cage is a dense 3D bio-fiber core providing ample surface area for beneficial aerobic and nitrifying bacteria colonization.
🛡️ Zero Dust & Pump Safe
Unlike brittle ceramic rings, these polymer-caged spheres will not crumble or shed abrasive mineral dust, protecting return pumps and impellers from premature wear.
🔄 Washable & Long-Lasting Reusability
Engineered for repeated maintenance cycles. Simply rinse in extracted tank water during filter cleanings to clear organic debris while preserving active beneficial nitrifying colonies.

Simple 3-Step Setup
- Initial Rinse: Give the bio-spheres a quick rinse under tap water before first use to remove any transit dust.
- Placement: Place directly after your mechanical filter pad (such as Aquiora Ultrafiltration Cotton) in your canister tray, trickle box, or sump chamber.
- Periodic Care: When performing water changes every 3–6 months, gently swish the media in extracted aquarium water to dislodge excess sludge. Never use untreated chlorinate tap water on established media.
